Starfish Family, Meet The Pit Crew
This team of world changers have partnered with us over the holiday season to make your holiday shopping impact possible! As many of you might know, our US Distribution center is run by a small, but passionate, staff and a lot of incredible volunteers. The Pit Crew, as they are lovingly referred to, is a group of men with disabilities that come from both ADEC and The Club House of Goshen, Indiana. This crew was formed and gainfully employed through the support of Stair Supplies, a locally-owned business and long time supporter of Starfish Project.

This joy filled crew have worked tirelessly to support their teammates and the mission of Starfish Project by assembling our Starfish Project boxes. They have improved the efficiency of our shipping department as we prepare your life changing orders. Headed up by their fearless leader, Rob, these industrious men folded 4,500 Starfish Project boxes that made your in-time-for-Christmas holiday shipping possible!
We could not be more grateful for their selflessness and service to the mission of Starfish Project. We are so thankful that the amazing Pit Crew are on our team! We are certainly better together. Thank you Pit Crew for restoring hope with us this holiday season and beyond!
Shelby is the Asia Director of Sales & Marketing Development at Starfish Project. She believes stories have the power to bridge people around the world and connect us to something bigger than ourselves. Having called Asia home for more than 20 years after growing up in Austin, Texas, she loves connecting people with the women and artisans behind every Starfish Project piece. When she's not working, she's raising her two energetic boys alongside her artist husband, traveling, or chasing the next adventure—hello, Enneagram 7!
