Hope Begins with a Safe Opportunity for Freedom

Not everyone gets the chance to walk away and begin again.
But when a woman is offered a safe opportunity for freedom, she takes a courageous step into the unknown.

Each year, the UN and communities around the globe raise awareness on World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, calling our attention to a crisis that too often hides in plain sight. According to the International Labor Organization, over 50 million people are trapped in modern slavery—many of them women and girls exploited through trafficking.

Here at Starfish Project, we believe awareness is only the beginning.
The real journey begins when a woman escapes exploitation and begins a new path. It’s in the quiet courage of rebuilding, healing, and stepping into a life she never imagined possible.

Dignity Can’t Be Donated. It Must Be Restored.

Survivors don’t just need safety. They need a future.

That’s why here at Starfish Project, we provide opportunities for holistic care, life-transforming job training, and meaningful employment. Many of our jewelry pieces are handcrafted by women in our restoration programs—each one contributing to her journey toward independence and stability.

Whether created by a survivor or photographed by a member of our growing content team, every piece helps fund the mission. Every purchase helps provide the long-term support survivors both need and deserve.

Together, we can shine a light in the darkest places and walk alongside women as they step into a future filled with hope.

Real change isn’t loud.
It’s consistent.
It’s intentional.
And it starts with you.
